They messed up when choosing the album cover, though.

Ain't that the truth! Just like Britney messed up with the covert art for Blackout when the booklet pictures were hot.
The only covers that they ever got right were the ones for Oops, Britney, and ITZ.

Exactly it is not so much about the "theme" but about how you go about the theme!
Can you imagine an album of Breathe On Me, Touch Of My Hand, Perfect Lover, Latch ( ), and The Answer...with those Blur vocals
What type of slayage

Britney is not the type of artist you listen to for emotional songs, save that **** for Adele.
Of course I want some ballads on the album but I have no problem with Brit continuing to do sexual songs, I just want her to cut down on the CLUB songs. It's just not believable anymore IMO.

Yes, the club stuff needs to stop. I mean a reference to being "out on the floor" is fine, but please 2 songs at the most.

She can still do sexual songs, but she has to be smart about it - aka never repeat the 'Femme Fatale' style, as she was not even close of what a "femme fatale" is and because she simply doesn't have the "sex machine" image anymore.
As I've said before, I want a balanced album, and that includes sexual, emotional and hell, even club songs.

It really is all about how you present and the theme. It was never the sex theme that was the problem for people, it was the continuous "club" oriented lyrics and songs that kind of underwhelms people. Hearing Britney talk about dancing or flirting with someone in the club just seems weird because she doesn't do the club thing much anymore.

Then, hell, Circus must be her most balanced album!
Sexual - Phonography, If U Seek Amy, Lace & Leather, Trouble.
Emotional - Unusual You, Quicksand, Out From Under, Amnesia (?).
Club (I assume you mean dance songs) - Womanizer, Circus, Kill the Lights.
She needs an album like this again!

I would love for a Target and Starbucks deal come alive for album 8. I want Britney name, the album, and the release date to be on all of the SB cardboard sleeves with their logo. Target commercial and promo shoot to compliment it. That would be divine!

The Circus Album booklet, Yes. It was beautiful.
But wasn't the photo above from the photoshoot where she was poorly groomed down there?
I can't believe her team released it.

I wish we got more confirmation about a Diplo production than the team following him on twitter randomly.

"Circus" is indeed a very underrated album. It's very balanced, and I love that, but some of the songs were too weak, and that end up making the album looking bad. In other words, where "Circus" was good, it was PERFECT; But where it was bad...
Oh, and I actually don't consider the songs you mentioned "club songs", which would mean "Circus" is club songs-free.

I would've liked to see her remain single for awhile. She was engaged to Jason for awhile and I don't know how I feel of her moving on so fast, but if it makes her happy, go for it.
