It's good, but he does his weird yelling and screaming 6/10 Back To You another of the best 9/10 Trigger Finger Soulja Boy is LAUGHABLY bad but he doesn't come in til 3:30 so the rest of the song works 9/10 Beat The **** Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but still too explicit. Played it through 3 times and as a fan, I'm a bit disappointed...some of the tracks are awful.
I definitely enjoy the slower tracks and the rock type tracks the most on this album...the swag tracks don't measure up to his past work...I also thought the hooks are lacking. Back To You is dope as **** tho!
and though I respect his style...
the album lacks some smash hooks
i always like weezy songs with this formula:
Rap all he wants about Sex + A Catchy Chorus + A Big Guest Feature
no problems on the verses (the album is so full of it), and the features (14/18 songs with features WOW), but the catchy hooks are missing big time for me.
the only things I've liked are the Singles plus maybe 2 or 3 songs.. and that's it...
