I think Duca makes a good point. The GMA performances for Circus were rather effective because she looked great and the performances were actually really good so if she does maybe 2 or 3 promo performances for album 8 and their top notch then she'll definitely benefit.

I think FF would of opened with over 300K had the promo never been done. Predictions went down after the performances.

I'm convinced by that tbh. Like I said, it was more anti-promo.

And I agree that her team is absolute **** at doing promo that doesn't even involve Britney. I mean Target deals, billboards, general awareness that the record is out. FF had pretty much nothing. It was just such a mess of an era, hopefully they just wanted to get it out of the way and era #8 will be the real deal.

I've been saying/thinking this for the past five years. All the women needs in order to get the worlds attention is to give the world a top notch performance. The public loved/talked about Britney for her performances.

Britney doesn't need to do interviews, xfactor, etc.....all she needs to do is give the world a great performances.

Her team is the pits why would they let her keep performing so mediocrely? They are hurting her image instead of helping it. I'm sure they are only in it for the money at this point, seeing how Larry is a flop ever since the first couple of eras.

From her going fishing instead of doing any promo for HIAM, those endless teasers and a video coming out after a month from single release, the whole messy "promo", messy tour - Enrique announced, Enrique backs out, no big sponsor for the tour, body doubles, her looking a mess and anxiety issues.

It was doomed from the very beginning. I saw the messy album cover + knew it was downhill from there. Then those promo performances

But her body/face looks way better now so appearance wise this era shouldn't be so cringeworthy
