This is what I was getting at yesterday. She did the Oprah interview and the HBO documentary and people saw another side of her (in a positive light) then she comes out with this. As much as I needed new music and enjoyed listening to it, I kind of wish she didn't do it. Well we'll see how it either helps or affects her soon enough.

First of all, WOW this song is amazing. I was in a food court and my friend mentioned her Instagram update and I thought, "something is going on" and then looked into it and had to borrow headphones and listen to it right there.
Beyonce's plan is becoming a little clearer now. I think it's obvious and safe to agree that this is not the first single. She basically released a snippet, only I have a feeling the lead single won't just be a full version of this. It's content is great for the moment as well: telling everyone to Bow Down, the queen is coming as we saw in the video. I also love what she says about not being just a wife. I hope the Huffington Post has taken note.
Does anyone think maybe those hood Instagram updates were for a promo video for this? Imagine her doing the Bow Down part in those, then the wrap in the Queen getup? That'd be amazing.
I am really hyped for her next song now, and I think the world is too. She has us watching. Anyone worried about Beyonce losing momentum had better reconsider because she just keeps cranking the gears.
I love this sound and I love the growl in her voice as she says "bow". I am bowing down for sure. I have a feeling the new song is coming soon though. She's starting phase two of her promo (I hope).

I have a feeling she didn't release it at that time cause she didn't want to block her friend JT. (even if he didnt give her a feature on 20/20 )

The I Am Music II was from March 18, 2011 to September 11, 2011 and he dropped the Carter IV on August 29th. It ended up selling almost a million copies its first week in the U.S. Tours are a great way to promote the single and album without releasing it. She can always do a second leg.
Now I think the first European leg will be without the album, but the album will be out by the US leg. She already confirmed another European leg as well.

This song has made the news and not in a good way. Beyonce is a brand. Yeah, Beyonce had Diva, but it still was light on the ears, but this is really out there for any female singer. I really hope this isn't the route of the new album. Beyonce is a role model to lil girls/women around the world.

The media/twitter and everyone else are so judgmental and hypocritical. They say bitch everyday. They talked junk about Bey, made up lies about her pregnancy. Case in point, Tamar first said she wanted to be like Bey, then turned around and said she faked a pregnancy. Wendy Williams took shots. The media covered the National Anthem like it was the most important story all year. The world made fun of her SB pics and bashed LIBAD after she went through the trouble of giving us more insight and letting down her guard. So I have no problem with Bey putting the lessors in their place in Bow Down. She didn't name names and it's to the haters, so the media should only be up in arms if it applies to them, afterall a hit dog will holla. Others cuss people out on twitter daily, but as soon as Beyonce vents it's a national problem. She'll drop an international mainstream hit and they'll be back to loving her again and if they're not whatever, I'll still rep her.

Likely leaving Atrl...Bey already said she was done making music other ppl wanted to hear...now half of the hive is complaining because they didn't hear what they wanted...Atrl is way too pop stricken for my taste. Cuz I dont mind BD/IBO at all. And I dont think the direction of the song has anything to do with the direction of the LP. It'll only be the heavy urban sound. **** being a role model and perfect. She's more than welcome to let go.

Yes YES YASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
THIS is why I love BD/IBO
She deserves to let these lessors know.
I don't understand how people are up in the base posting "Back Up" and saying they "love ratchet bey," well she got ratchet, why is everyone flipfloping??
I love this and the trap music, I'm hoping the whole era is this hood
I just don't like the vocal pitches being used, I WANT it to sound like bey

Beyonce is held to a higher standard we all know this, that's only because people respect her more than others.
But I'm sure B knew that she might get some backlash from this.
