They already have Celine, Cher and Shania for the old ones so that market is covered ... they need someone for the young ones, it makes sense , and that could also be the reason why they want her on the Planet hollywood instead of the Caesars palace , the planet hollywood seems "younger".  |
It's clear they are using this as a vehicle to promote her with older legends. It's also clear Vegas is using this to start bringing in more younger generations so that its more acceptable and not just looked at as a hasbeen showcase.
