i honestly feel like the Vegas announcement is as good as retirement announcement


its like Britney is giving up being a current pop star and leaving it to Rihanna, GaGa, Katy Perry and becoming a fossil singing to her core fanbase in Vegas


artists go to Vegas when they have reached their peak and no longer try to be relevant or groundbreaking

And we thought that being a judge on a TV show was meant for retired hasbeens like Paula Abdul and Nicole S, etc , and look what happened next, the unthinkable, Britney got her biggest hit since "Baby one more time".

So... As soon as she continues getting hits and top 10 singles she will be relevant no matter if she goes to Vegas or the Phillipines, these proffesional decissions are not the ones that indicate the relevance of an artist, The charts and media interest are.

Such a shame, because while it was a decent pop song it was rather generic. Nothing special like a toxic etc.
