Let's not forget the infamous "don't make me hop after you"
& the guy that was in jail for so long and he was released and he had on those damn platform shoes with the water and fish in them and everyone was making fun of him. Classic.
I wonder what would happen if they took a popular teen book series and turned all the characters into minorites for the movie or atleast the main ones.
Tyler's movies are all the same plot line:
-A black woman falls on hard times probably because of some dark skinned black man.
-Some light skinned black man comes into the picture to save her.
-The black woman finds out something she does like about the light skinned black man, so she runs away from him.
-Madea comes into the movie for a scene or two to quote the Bible or give some type of word from God.
-The black woman finally sees that she and the light skinned man are made for each other so they get together.
The end.
I liked Think Like a Man, but it's still a typical movie.
Spike Lee has gone down the drain, but there was something about a lot of his movies that didn't feel typical. That's why he was critically praised at one point.
