Gurls, I have a very positive moment concering Almost Home right now
While I am convinced that there is nothing to save it now (no, not even an AI-performance) I believe it's a sign that the album/lead single is near.
I believe they put out Almost Home to make up for Triumphant. I mean, the lambily, while frustrated with AH flopping, IS happy about the song itself, right?
It seems they did nothing really to promote the song, it was DOA on radio, the video came out very late, no performance or even talk about the song EVEN when Mariah appeared on TWO talk shows
IF the album comes out in may/june and Mariah wants to use American Idol it makes perfect sense to save a performance spot for the lead single, maybe even a radio deal to get the lead single out there when it is here
So, you see, I am spinning the complete lack of support for Almost Home to something positive :-)
