I like to believe Bloodshy & Avant were punished because they forced Jive to release 'Radar', so that would be the reason behind 'Unusual You' being ignored over 'Amy' and none of their songs being even rumored as singles during the FF era.
Oh, thank all of you who wished my a happy birthday yesterday.

I think the fact that Radar flopped terribly put off the label from releasing any B&A songs. I mean, Radar was a commercial song it should NOT have missed the Top 20. I suppose the first thing to attribute it's flopping to is the strong production, so I'm guessing the label thought the same so decided not to release any of their tracks for FF.

When are we going to get a new OP?

Exactly ... one Grammy is given to everyone, the vocalist, the producers and the mixers. Is one grammy individually for each of them , not a global grammy LOL .
however, for some kind of reason I have the feeling Britney never claimed her Grammy she didn't attend to the ceremony, she was obssesed with Kevin, and she didn't seem to even care about it ... probably Britney's grammy is at Larry Rudolph's office / home

You may have a point. However Jive should have released Radar before going into the Circus era. Jive created the entire mess in the first place by shelving the Blackout era, which in turn resulted in Circus losing out on an "official" circus fourth single. Which in turn resulted in No Unusual You, Shattered Glass etc....And Finally we had to suffer again by RCA paying How I Roll, & Trip To Your Heart complete dust.

Oh cool, I was never really 100% sure about who kept the awards. I would have guess that it only went to one person, but your logic makes sense.

"Radar" flopped because it was a song from her previous studio album of "2007", released in 2009 (2 years later) during the promotion of a different album, it was a mess, it should've been released during the promotion of "Blackout".
and the song went Gold (in sales) in the US , it sold more than "Not myself tonight", "You lost me", "Your body" and "Just a fool", just to give an example

I still think Up N' Down had the best chance to do well and maybe go Top 5. But, in general, I think HIR would of helped album sales since people who are casual fans or not even fans reacted the most positively to that song so I wouldn't mind seeing it as a single during the FF era.

I don't think "Criminal" was a mistake, it was a nice 4th single ....... songs like "Up N down", "Inside out" or "How I roll" could've perfectly been contenders for a 5th single of the album ... I mean its not like there wasn't enough space or time for a 5th single, if they didn't release it its not because of "Criminal" its because they didn't want it. period.
probably they stop the promotion of FF after "Criminal" flopped, but I think it was a stupid decission, yes "Criminal" flopped, but the other 3 singles performed good so a 5th single would have not caused any harm in my opinion.

The last time she had 5 singles from an album was 'Britney' I don't think it's ever going to happen, she seems to want to end the era as fast as possible.
Promotion for her 8th album is something I'm very puzzled about and don't know what to expect. Although I do think it can't really get worse than FF era, but I think it still could

Britney actually could of gone as far as to release 6 singles from FF. There were definitely enough songs to choose from.

Exactly .. and "Britney" didn't have 5 worldwide singles, "I love rock N roll" was just released on a few european countries ...
it sucks, she really seems to want to end her eras fast, she is not the kind of girl that releases a bunch of singles and promotes her albums for more than a year.

The album was packed with dance-floor-ready songs, tailored for radio, but only so much can be done without promo, and any effort from Britney herself.

How I Roll, TTYH and Unusual You are not radio friendly though. Shattered Glass would have worked. You're right tho, Radar should have been a Blackout single.

I believe that they are radio friendly.
Britney has never been a generic pop artist until Femme Fatale.
Britney has always pushed the envelope when it comes to pop music, Toxic wasn't radio friendly at the time it went #1 everywhere.

[B]UPDATE: 5:28 PM PDT: The list has just gotten longer. We've learned Britney Spears and Donald Trump have also been hacked.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Twelve big celebs and political figures, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, are the victims of a hacker who has posted detailed information about what appears to be their finances ... and we've learned law enforcement is on the case.
A website -- we're not disclosing the name -- has posted social security numbers, mortgage amounts, credit card info, car loans, banking and other info of major celebs. In addition to Beyonce and Jay-Z ... the site has snagged financial dossiers of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Joe Biden, Robert Mueller, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.
The site was not able to get a lot on Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton, but most of the others on the list have had their financial info compromised.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the LAPD has already launched an investigation. We're told the FBI is looking into it.

Hope this doesn't affect anything important.
