Rihanna is more beautiful IMO but based off the OP question Britney fits the standard of beauty more. Sadly the standard of beauty worldwide has always been European features with blonde hair, while Rihanna has significant African features
The fact is that most people compare the other girls' looks to Rihanna's (or Beyoncé's) these days. Britney was hot, especially in her prime, but she was never as beautiful or sexy as Rihanna was/is (like the looks she sported in SOS, Umbrella, Rude Boy, and S&M music videos).

It's about looking white. Sadly in the majority of places in the world the whiter a woman looks the prettier she is considered, this goes for caucasian physical features as well such as thin noses, light hair and small lips. The girls who go to tanning saloons just want to look like they've been under the sun but they don't actually want to look or be like a black person, let's be real now.

Toxic went #1 WW and in like 25 countries along with having like 60m views and was released like January 2004.

If you start a discussion about beauty standards and compare a black woman and a white woman you're inviting a discussion about racism because that's what fuels the "beauty standards" around the world (and the obsession with being thin, having the right amount of curves, breast size, etc).

this is the world we live in and it trickles all the way down to pop stars and who we consider the most beautiful in our society. I don't say this as a stan trying to shade Rihanna over Britney, I will be the first to admit Rihanna is far more beautiful than the present day Britney we've got right now.
