X Factor starts in the fall for the US. I think the live shows start around October? The finale is around Christmas time. If the Christmas album is true, then perfect time to promote it there.

Random thought: I can't believe Because of You didn't get any stupid Grammy nomination. At least BOY with Reba got one... (although it lost)

To topic: Maybe Kelly could do one day the thing Beyoncé did with Sasha Fierce album. She could release album with two discs with one containing pop songs and one country songs.

It wasn't submitted for nominations. I think that one of the rule, is if you win pop vocal album, you aren't allowed to nominate anything more from that album. That's also the reason why Adele submitted the live version of set fire to the rain, because it isn't on the album.

I hope RCA isn't completely retarded and that they release the single to the radio first and then announce the single with the music video dropping simultaneously. The streaming value is really going to screw Kelly over...which is why I'm hoping the release of PLU was pushed back purposely.

They need to create hype for the video. If they are able to do it for Carrie's videos, they should be able to do the same for Kelly. Make a trailer about the video or something, let it premiere on access Hollywood for example. I don't know.... Just do something. The fact that CMB only hit 9million views is just plain embarrassing, especially since it was a radio hit.

Next week is when the results show starts. Bon Jovi and Phillip Phillips are performing. Idol's finale is May 16, so a lot of time for them to book Kelly at some point.

I personally hope Kelly sings Don't Rush again for the ACM awards. The song is picking up steam on Country and the sales it would get would probably greatly help it's chart position to make it a decent Country hit. I don't see the point in performing the new Country song when it isn't being released yet. And they better not release it just yet now that DR is picking up steam.

That's interesting, I wasn't aware of it. I wondered why Adele wasn't nominated with normal version of Set Fire To The Rain. Thank you for explaining it to me.

i have this... awful feeling that they're going to cancel PLU. i REALLY don't think they will, but i have this feeling.
hopefully they can release it for adds in the next 3-4 weeks and perform on idol at the end of April + the Billboard awards. that'll probably be the only two promotional spots it'll get, since the wedding planning will be intense by then.
