And what people conviently always leave is that later Mary clarified that she misunderstood and even tried to get that removed from that interview. But people will believe what they want when it's convient for their agenda
If you actually watched an interview of Christina, you would know something like that would never happen. She has always been very humble and complimentary to those who came before her

Yeah nobody will ever know exactly what happens with celebrities outside of the public eye, so stories can get misinterpreted but when you have multiple celebrities and people in the business telling the same story about how she's rude, it becomes a little easier to believe.
And thats the same thing happened to The Wanted. They heard she might be rude and then they misinterpreted something when they were on The Voice and ranted. But then later they realized thy were wrong and even apologized lol
I think if anything, shes actually very shy in a lot of ways so initial meetings may be awkward, but then some people misinterpret that for something else

Main reason is because she flopped, and if you flop you're automatically disliked. If she came back with a multiplatinum album they'd be kissing her ass Also a lot of it is bandwagoning. A couple people make fun of her, so everyone else does because they want to fit in and it's so pathetic and lame.
