I can't agree more. I knew she would have o change her look eventually. everyone does. Her image was difficult to maintain for the simple fact that it relied so heavily on being"odd" The message was never clear, she always ha backlash from critics, and she wants longevity. The switch was inevitable and essential.
The fnny thing is my mom of ALL people was the one to call the ENTIRE transformation years ago. she said that Nicki's second album wouldn't do well, and her third would be one here she tries to reveal who she is. She'll tone down her look and open up about her life in an attempt to seem more candid and genuine. My mom said the album will be revealing and sincere
I'm amazed how she hit this on the head YEARS ago. She simply needs to focus on her music. The oufits and wigs SHOULD&COULD be picked out by someone else, while she pours her heart and soul into this album.
I have 0 expectations as of no. I simply know that the writing she does for this album will be very different. She has a LOT to say. She's a successful Black Woman in a White Man's world.
