this is not throwing shade or whatever you kids call it nowadays, but I couldn't help but notice that she's the least searched for pop girl now, I like gaga and all but do these results indicate that she will flop into irrelevancy soon?
Of course the least searched for major pop star is the one who hasn't released any music in two years and who didn't play at the Super Bowl, what else would you expect?
No. Her latest sold out world tour/record breaking perfume sales indicates that people are still here for her and are willing to buy her music when it's released, provided it's good.
Yes, like her last flop era, the Born This Way era, she's going to have top ten hits, an 8M+ selling single, awards, Grammy nominations, broken records, and a $200M+ grossing tour.
I sometimes wonder about some of the threads on ATRL. How are we supposed to know? How about you actually, just wait for the era to begin? Pointless thread.

The success of the BTWB and indeed the BTW era was merely the aftermath of a huge debut.
And the reason her fragrance was so successful was because it was her fashion release, and let's face it Gaga was always known for her outfits and eccentricity over her music.
It is more likely than people on this site seem to think.
She is going to have to make no mistakes with this era or it is the Cyndi route from now on.
Why do people insist on likening her to Cyndi when she's already far, far surpassed Cyndi? By her third era, Cyndi had basically faded into nothing and got only one top ten hit. In her third era, Gaga maintained her position as the biggest pop star and recieved four top ten hits on top of a very successful album and yet another massive world tour.
Well, no. The GP is not here for her anymore, but her stanbase is too dedicated to let her flop.
This thread has been done plenty.
Basically.
She obviously won't flop flop, but I think her sales this era will decline. I estimate a 400k opening week (US) with the album going on to sell 3-4 million worldwide.
What is more interesting is how her singles will do though.

Don't take it too literally. And Born This Way is her second era.

The "she's coming off of a huge debut" excuse is so STALE. I can undertand why you could say that her debut is the reason for BTW's first week sales or something along the lines but the BTW Ball took off a year after the album.
In fact, the BTW Ball took off way after MTN tanked. If the "hype" was still there, MTN would've succeeded. The excuses are old now.
And lol at the Cyndi Lauper comment being brought up. Y'all are running out of ideas to bring Gaga down.
