Guys, think about the amount of #1's Rihanna, Bieber and One Direction are going to get this year with the new rule. Harlem Shake is going to stay #1 for months to come.
The good thing is that the quality of music videos will be higher. We will see artist releasing multiple videos for their single/remixes.
I bet there will be at least 3 videos for a song in their VEVO audio video, Lyric video, official music video

Is this really such a bad thing? I mean, the user-generated part is probably the most worrying about this. But otherwise, it might help more unknown artists get exposure by placing them higher in the Hot 100. It levels the playing field a bit.

The new #Hot100 has a target chart ratio of sales (35-45%), airplay (30-40%) and streaming (20-30%). These change based on platform volume.
