So I'm almost 80% sure that this is the demo of Since U Been Gone. Someone on pulse posted it and I remember someone posting the video before and saying it's the demo. Don't know why it's listed as a cover though.
ETA: Ahh I remember! Robyn covert the demo version!! So this isn't the official demo version but it's very close to it. As you can hear.... No guitars!!!

Yesssssss I was hoping they would pick the story up. They ALWAYS are team Kelly. I can't wait for it now.
Death at Robyn's awful version. I have yet to hear a decent cover by an artist. Florence destroyed it, Robyn ruined it, Keri Hilson/Timbaland ****ed it up even more....like Kelly is the only girl able to sing that damn song.

But didn't the demo have a few different lyrics as well. If she was covering the demo she would have had different lyrics?

So apparently Billboard Hot 100 changed their formula to include Youtube plays including fan-uploaded videos with authorized use of the song (which is why Harlem Shake is #1 this week).
Youtube just counts towards streaming. And streaming is like 20% of the formula right? The billboard changes are such a ****ing mess. I want the old charts back.
Honestly, this new rule gives me hope. The label cannot be THAT blind to ignore the revamped charts. Since apparently Kelly knows the sales number of her albums, I'm sure she'll realize she won't be seeing Top 10 ever again without putting some effort into her videos like she used to.
I don't know why but people rarely watch Kelly Clarkson stuff on youtube. Stronger barely has 70 million views and was one of the biggest hits of last year. And I honestly don't think that the quality of her videos play THAT big of a role. I mean Since U Been Gone, Hazel Eyes and Never Again have such low views (Yes, I know they were re uploaded, but so were a lot of Rihanna, Avril, Beyonce and britney videos but still managed to get a lot of views).
There's no secret that the majority of the views come from the US, so not only does Kelly need to put out better videos but it's time to expose herself more worldwide.
I wouldn't worry to be honest. Stronger's video has a fairly good amount of views even though it wasn't anything spectacular. If the song is popular, the views will correlate. I think Kelly just needs to bring her A-game in longevity and consistency next album more than just having one #1 super-hit/album. For me, the former is more important.
