Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes lead tributes to tragic country singer Mindy McCready after suicide

Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes have led tributes to country singer Mindy McCready following her suicide on Sunday.
The country music world was in shock after news broke that the 37-year-old had shot herself on the porch on her Arkansas home - the same place her boyfriend David Wilson died of a gunshot wound a month earlier.
Mindy's death comes after years of turmoil, including numerous arrests and spells in rehab.

The mother-of-two was released from rehab just a few days before she decided to take her own life.
Following the announcement of Mindy's death, celebrities took to Twitter to express their sympathy for Mindy's family and her two children.

LeAnn wrote: 'My heart goes out to Mindy McCready's family. I knew her well. It's a horribly tragedy. May peace be with her sons.'
Carrie tweeted: 'I grew up listening to Mindy McCready...so sad for her family tonight. Many prayers are going out to them...'
Actress Alyssa Milano retweeted a news report, adding: 'Sad'.
Meanwhile, country star Wynonna Judd, who has been open in the past about battling her own demons, wrote a lengthy essay on Twitter.
She wrote: 'Oh my! Mindy. Dear sweet girl. This is so sad. It just breaks my heart what addiction continues to take from this life.

'Addiction is a dis EASE & not a character flaw. When the pain becomes too much, it causes people to want that pain to stop. This is just so unbelievable & so sad. God be with the family & those babies. Surround them with your grace & mercy...
'People who don't understand addiction can easily judge. I myself am a recovery story. I don't for 1 minute consider myself weak in character. I am addicted to the word "More." It has almost killed me.
'Tonight I sang with such a heavy heart for Mindy & for those who still struggle with this dis EASE. I will always be reminded of how what happened to Mindy could have easily happened to me. I thank ALL.'
Country singer Jason Aldean also sent his 'thoughts and prayers are with her 2 boys and her family'.

No one knows what single 4 will be. It could be One Way Ticket if the label wants to push it this early. Since DYTAM was cut from the tour, it's unlikely it'll be the next single I'm thinking it'll be Cupid's Got a Shotgun or Nobody Ever Told You tbh

One Way Ticket is an abomination and one of the worst songs in her discography. I'll stop stanning if she dares to release it.

Thank god DYTAM was cut from the tour. It's terrible tbh. I'm not here for Nobody Ever Told You. It's like the definition of a filler track.. so boring. Why can't it just be SYA? I need a video and for it to cross over to Pop

OMG and count me IN on those who think Sometimes You Leave is one of her best songs. I LOVE it. Blasphemy that it's unknown

I get the feeling SYA won't get released since it's too "pop". Especially after all this Taylor Swift is Pop vs Country, I don't think they want to risk that with Carrie. Just my two cents though.



Also they should use SYA as the goodbye song on Idol
