Don't Forget vs Kiss & Tell Here We Go Again vs A Year Without Rain
Unbroken vs When The Sun Goes Down
Selena wins for now, but it's all about the situations. Don't Forget was a Jonas Brothers album with Demi as lead vocalist, she realized about that and quickly moved on to the amazing sound of Here We Go Again and decided to make the music that she actually liked. Unbroken seemed promising, but after Demi's treatment she took a different direction and combined it with the material she already had, making it less consistent. Selena pulled a Rihanna and released an album every year, maintaining consistency which made her material superior to Demi's. The real competition begins now that both are releasing albums this year, I'm sure Demi will bring something as amazing as Here We Go Again.
Selena has 2 amazing singles ('Naturally' and 'Love You Like A Love Song') and then a long list of filler.
Demi has 1 amazing album (Here We Go Again) and a bunch of other amazing songs ('Skyscraper', 'Give Your Heart A Break', 'Trainwreck', 'La La Land', 'Don't Forget').
The answer is obvious.
And yes 'Skyscraper' is the most perfectly dramatic ballad since 'Beautiful'.
And yes 'Every Time You Lie' is all that Adele wishes she could be.
And yes 'La La Land' features a song structure far more effortlessly radical than all other pop girls' laboured efforts.
And yes 'Give Your Heart A Break' is the most brilliant pop radio single ever and the lyrics are incredible and it has two middle 8s, and when the latter one comes in so unexpectedly when you think the song's ending it's a pop sugar rush every time.
Songs that further prove this(in my opinion):
1. Don't Forget: Don't Forget
2. HWGA: World Of Chances/Got Dynamite
3. Unbroken: My Love Is Like A Star/Lightweigh
