I knew this is EXACTLY how Stay would perform. But I'm honestly shocked it went #1 so fast. Its doing better than expected. I'm really happy for Rihanna because she's going to have had a HUGE mid tempo first single, and then a HUGE ballad second single. Stay will probably perform as Rihanna's best second single ever.
I hope that this translates into larger album sales, it should.
