Here's how I look at them: The Fame was something she had to do in order to get people to pay attention to her. The Fame Monster was something she had to do to keep the hype going. Born This Way was something she had to do to help herself. She's the biggest superstar on the planet right now, so ARTPOP doesn't have to confine to any rules, she can do whatever and put music that is a true reflection of herself.
Announcement after the tour ends in March.
Break for two months in April and May.
Single in the summer in June or July.
Album just in time for her big VMA comeback and the Grammy deadline in August or September.
I like that she said she started writing ARTPOP right after she finished with BTW. This dispels all of the "she learned from her mistake" and "she's going commercial because she flopped" BS since she started on ARTPOP before BTW even began to sell. Gaga does not see what she did as "mistakes" and doesn't regret them. When she makes decisions, they are what her heart wants at the moment. She is in a different time in her life now. There are no longer any poisonous leeches and she's in love with a guy who truly supports and loves her. We will see and hear all of this with ARTPOP. She is happy and healthy and her work will reflect that way.
