So true. I love how she can take simplicity and turn it up so that it's no longer simple. All she really used was a mic and a light (granted that light came in the form of fire, pyrotechnics, spotlights, and LED screens). The rest was sold completely on her amazing ability to tear a stage apart. Oh, and she had DC and some fog too lol.
The intro still gives me chills when I watch it. It's so amazing with the voiceover, the Run the World intro, and then the guitar riffs matched with the fire illuminating her face and body silhouettes. That silhouette of her standing is so powerful. It shows she's larger than life, but at the end of the day she's still a woman standing fiercely on a stage.
