Ugh i feel like HWR is going to push her single even further back so they can focus on Selena..
But if they do, I'd expect her to premiere some songs in her concerts in march but.... lol it ain't happening.
Who said Selena was releasing her single first though? and even if she does, Demi can release hers shorty after. I don't think HWR will focus on one completely and ditch the other one...not this time at least
I hope that Demi's team will book her to perform on American Idol! She needs that slot! And I hope that news about her new music starts rolling in soon........

Every day we feature a song that would be a perfect choice for highlighting on some television show. Today's pick would be perfect for all of those situations where a producer thinks, "Hey, let's use 'Call My Maybe' in this scene!"
"You're My Only Shorty" is a track off of Demi Lovato's "Unbroken" CD and it's a catchy/goofball track that has one of the hooks that's as hard to shake as a case of Ebola.
It's a duet with Iyaz and it's essentially three minutes of Lovato asking him if she is his "only shorty." Granted, I loathe the phrase "shorty," but the fact that I still find the track so irresistible is a testament to the song's evil charm.
i don't mind waiting for the single tbh especially if it's something that will be able to do well on radio this summer. hopefully she can get an AI performance too, plus the second season of x factor will help out with at least keeping her name out there (if she does it, which i think she will).
Just because Selena said she is releasing in March doesnt mean she will be first. For all we know Demi's single could come first and shes just not telling us as much.
Demi did say she'd release by November and that didn't happen, maybe the same will happen with Selena's music

She said she might put something out at the end of the year.
And I remember us speculating because she said "it'll be out in a few months" when it was probably about dubstep being "out" in three months.
But anyway, I'm not expecting a single any earlier than march.
During a presentation at the Macworld/iWorld conference in San Francisco, Bleu revealed that Lovato’s vocals for “In Real Life,” a song he cowrote for her album “Unbroken,” were recorded in the living room of his home in Los Angeles on a $100 microphone. The at-home recording session “was a little bit of a shock to her,” Bleu said, “but she got used to it pretty quickly.”
As a matter of fact, the entire tune was pretty much an at-home project. From a technology standpoint, Bleu relied on a MacBook; Pro Tools recording software; and an Mbox Mini, a compact, portable audio recorder.
“I’m making the records on my laptop, at home, and that’s what you’re hearing on the radio,” Bleu said.
Despite the high-tech gadgetry of today’s music, the “core” still remains the song itself, he said. “Nobody hears how expensive a recording is,” said Bleu, adding that he’s “always trying to find things that work on the cheap.”
