It's already surpassed all expectations and while it's shelf life is drawing to a close, does it have any chance of snatching #1 on Billboard?

First of all, the remix will not help at all since it's a totally different song.
Radio is still strong as well as the sales. Anything can still happen

Nope. As mentioned Thrift Shop is dominating JUST with its sales....... its airplay will catch up soon. Will be #1 for a while I think.
Not that S&S deserves no. 1
