Don't get me wrong. I'm all for taking a break, creating a quality album and re-charging your batteries. But Gaga has been teasing about ARTPOP since last summer, making us all assume we were going to get the album in late 2012. Artists usually don't start teasing about their new album until 1-3 months before their release date.

She didn't make anyone assume anything. You guys assume because you listen to misinformed Monsters like Jay who make you think an album is coming sooner than it is. She has never said anything about a release date and only recently confirmed that no music will be coming until after the tour.

Unlike other popstars, Gaga is involved in every process of the music creation. She is a human who is excited to share her work with everyone, so she talks about it. It is YOUR fault for drawing conclusions.

If you don't like it, don't pay attention to her. Unfollow her, ignore her, block her, etc. don't blame her for your actions.

Also, learn what the word hype means.

which is why you show up in gaga threads all the time. She can afford to do what she wants. Unlike some popstars, her success reaches beyond single sales.

She knows that she gets a lot of attention, so when she's tweeting lyrics & hinting at other things about the record, she is fully aware the info will make her fans eager for the new music. And I'm sure by now she's aware that the hype raises the expectations to somewhat ridiculous levels. So she's hinting at music and then making her fans wait months to even hear about an announcement for the single.

Just because we're irked at how she hypes doesn't mean we should go too far by blocking her and blacklisting her from our iPods. I'm sure she appreciates the money I use to buy her records so she wouldn't want me to ignore her either.

The hype this time isn't as big, I was so excited for BTW around October 2010 and now we're probably closer to ARTPOP than BTW was Oct 2010...I think it will be more "bam!" this time

Jeez can you give her a break you do know for ARTPOP she's creating an app which will take time to perfect. The single is coming once the tour finishes which is about 6 weeks time. I've been excited since she announced it knowing that she's working with exciting artists- Zedd and Madeon

No I like her teasing. What annoy's me is the fans who complain like this. Its obvious when she announced ARTPOP that she was expecting it to come out towards the end of 2012, but I'm convinced Interscope advised against it. I'd rather she took the time to give us a good album than rush it to please impatient fans.

She has been working non-stop since she started out, be thankful we are even getting an album
