JT isn't "needed" but I'd rather have him in the loop than out of it. He shines when he does music, not when he does those pathetic movies. I'd say he's definitely more talented than most males out right now excluding Usher and Bruno. Bruno may be his main competition right now.

Both of those are not good examples. They're good examples of why we need Justin, honestly.
Good examples for male popstars are Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. They're the ones people care about.

I don't think he is "needed" in the sense that... like... he'll end careers. For example, Beliebers and Directioners aren't gonna abandon Justin and One Direction for some adult man.

I see him having the same support system as Britney (the current late teens/college kids who grew up with them) but IN ADDITION having a broader general public appeal to adults and the urban community. So he'll be more than fine.

I think he is "needed" to support and cement this current shift in mainstream sound. He is DESPERATELY needed and I am so excited. With Beyonce coming back strong, Britney working with urban producers (giving me In The Zone vibes), Rihanna's STRONG urban influence on Unapologetic, all the random hits of the last year and more diversity on the charts and several other things, it's reminding me of like... 04/05/06 and I couldn't be more pleased.
