#3 on iTunes after less than 12 hours. Looks like the people who said that it had no commercial appeal and cockily predicted that it would flop have egg on their faces.

As far as not expecting this goes... I don't know why not. It was announced that JT was working with Timbaland again. Did you *really* expect him to come out with some silly ass Dr. Luke/Calvin Harris/Guetta sounding pop trash? Oh, and newsflash: JT reportedly worked with Tim for the entire album...so if you don't like this single, chances are you won't like any of them. I doubt that JT's got anything on his album that sounds like it was fished out of Kesha's or Katy's toilet.

I just have to wonder how much do some of you even know about JT? Aside from those very early Nsync records, he's never especially been a peppy poppy guy. For as long as he's been solo, he's pretty much been R&B, or R&B-leaning (hell, even some of those later Nsync songs were more R&B than Pop.) You REALLY expected some erratic fist pump club song from him? Really?! Might as well go back to Bieber for that.

Ok after listening to it, over 5 times i must say i like it now. i just hope it performs well as a single because it's so different.
i wish the intro had a more dramatic build-up to the beat. jay z was not neccessary and his verse really disrupted the soulful feel of the song. anyway, the song is such a grower and he obviously was really influenced by his fave donny hathaway.
the song is way better without the intro.

cute but no. don't jump to the conclusion that i'm one of those people who's only here for dance music because that clearly isn't what i said and you don't know me.

this is definitely his style, the song suits him well and it shows off his vocals pretty well. all i can really say is that it didn't immediately hit me which is how i usually judge songs. that's not to say it isn't a good song because it is. it just didn't have an immediate effect on me when i first heard it. it's growing on me though and hopefully it continues to grow.
