With 46 days on top and 42 of them in 2012, this song deserves more than the #1 spot. The song was the clear choice for #1 this year after i started to compile this years' chart. The song appeared at the end of 2011 in that chart to then return to #1 back in May and set records along the way.
To date the song is the best performing song on my chart ever, meaning that if i put the past three years of me doing my charts together this song is the strongest ever. The song is not only the Longest-running #1 ever, the song holds the records of "Longest-consecutive stay in the Top 10," "Third Longest Top 3 showing," "Second Longest Top 5 showing" and Rihanna's longest-running #1 and second song to pass the 10-day mark.
The song is amazing and it is my favorite song from "Talk That Talk." Among all Rihanna songs, the song would probably place at #2 behind "Fire Bomb" but hey among so many great songs #2 is the new #1 lol The music video was amazing and i can say one thing about this song, I'm still not tired of it
Rih had previously climbed as high as #5 on the Best Of Songs Chart with "Fire Bomb" back in 2010 and last Year was #8 with "We Found Love" feat. Calvin Harris. Rihanna also takes the Aritst of the Year title this year, matching Lady Gaga who also had the #1 song (The Edge Of Glory) and #1 Artist. John Mayer came close in 2010, he was the #1 artist but held the #2 spot in songs (Assassin).

My baby Lana can do no wrong, except maybe sing a little lol I love this album and there isn't a song that i don't like, which is hard for me to say. The great thing about this album is that it was released at the beginning of 2012 so i had the whole year to appreciate it. The most AWESOME thing is that it was Re-released at the end of the year with the equally amazing "Paradise."
The songs are great. In the original version my favorite songs range from "Blue Jeans" to the amazing "Summertime Sadness" and "National Anthem." In the EP version i love "Ride" "Body Electric" and "Cola."
This is the 2nd year in which the title of the album has the word "Born" in it after Gaga's "Born This Way" last year. In fact the top 2 this year has the word in it with John Mayer's "Born And Raised" being the #2 album this year. This is also the 3rd year in a row in which the #1 album starts with a letter B on it and the title of the album is also a track on the album, i know i tend to notice things lol
I hate when people say they can't get into her music because to be quite honest her music is awesome, the lyrics are good and the beats are alive. Keep It going Lanita!!!!!
