I see him having Femme Fatale-like success. It's just been too long.
I can't with people saying we need "real" male popstars or whatever. They're out there but y'all just hate them because they're men.

It has nothing to do with the fact that they're male. It's just that they're not good pop stars

I agree. You're most likely right. This single and his album will be
a quick sizzle and then an immediate fade out and back to "acting."

Since when does Bruno put out "soul & R&B smashes"?
Anyway, why not? Music is music. If it's good it'll be accepted and if not the world will simply move on.

How else would you describe his records? Yes, it's "pop," but Bruno's "pop" is rooted in soul
and R&B. "Just The Way You Are" and "Grenade" and "Locked Out Of Heaven" aren't
exactly Flo Rida or Pitbull singles. "Pop" is not all-inclusive. Learn your genres.

He's not going to have a successful-massive era. Maybe a la Femme Fatale.

Adam Levine has a band though, and Usher's main field is Urban.
Both had underperforming eras which is why they took the easy way of crafting dance-pop hits.
We need the return of a true male popstar such as Justin, to save us from the likes of Bieber and 1D.

Not really, but I'm sure they'll still be a place for him. I mean when he left, her had only two peers, Usher and Chris Brown. And when he came back, he only two more peers, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.
Usher and Chris Brown are on a bit of shaky ground right now, so he could easily fill their vacancy.
It's not like it would be if he was a pop girl who took a break since 2007. Then he'd have to deal with Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, KeSha, Nicki Minaj, Adele, Taylor Swift, etc, at least 7 new threats to deal with as opposed to only 2 I listed for men

We're in need of all the GOOD male popstars we can get that arent turning out generic house songs. I love that we have Bruno, Now we have Justin back that's a great start for the next year.
I mean did you see all the people pumped for his return, their were just as many straight white/black/mexican/asian men all in the twitter search just as excited as the gays and the women. You dont see that with anyone else.

I don't think we ever needed him. His music is okay, with some songs standing out and the rest falling into irrelevancy. I do appreciate his presence in the industry. People like Timberlake and Usher keep the male musical standard up to snuff.

Adam Levine is a nobody and Usher is trying HARD as in "reaching" levels to be Michael Jackson. None of them live up to the legacy.

Whats inaccurate about it? Those are the only two new ones really in his lane. Maroon 5 came out around the time he first came out and they're still seen as a band.
And Usher and Chris are definitely struggling on pop radio in their last eras.

With the title "Suit & Tie," I'm already getting a strong
feeling that the record is going to be outdated. But we'll see.
