And, PLEASE, every single damn person who is supporting Sharon's letter is just as much of a hypocrite and attention seeker. Just like everyone else in the "real world." And in the "real word", Sharon should learn to control her anger and accept the fact that her daughter's job is meaningless and detrimental. She can take SEVERAL SEATS.
Dead @ people thinking Gaga can control what her fans say.
Despite the messiness of the comments that've been posted against Kelly (and now her mom I suppose), Gaga herself has always been above that. It's not her fault her fans are as vitriolic as they are passionate about their idol.
If you are going to think that way, then might as well just deal with the fact that celebrities are calling you all out as being bullies then and not complain about it. Can't expect it going one way forever!
Nobody is complaining about that, honey. If you look at this thread, we're complaining about Sharon Osbourne's hipocrisy. Now, don't twist my words to say we're okay with it. We're not and it bothers us, however, that's not the point in case right now.
Sharon, I like you, but your letter is so wrong. Let me count the ways:
1. You criticize her for writing an open letter when Kelly was the one who started this by publicly decrying all of her fans for the actions of a small minority, generating headlines in the process.
2. Like your daughter, you falsely accuse all of her fans making vile comments to your daughter when it was a few mentally deranged twitter users out of 32 million.
3. You are placing responsibility for the actions of a minority of fans on Gaga herself, most of whom Gaga has likely never spoken to or met personally. This is a real shame, because your husband and many of his contemporaries went through the same bullsh*t by religious fanatics when they were in their heyday. Gaga can only be held responsibility for her actions and her actions alone, just like every other person.
4. Not only are you placing responsibility on Gaga for her fans actions, you are openly suggesting that she is somehow manipulating her fans to make these vile comments about your daughter. This is absolutely absurd and offensive.
5. She did not support the comments against your daughter, in her letter she called upon her and everyone else to be treated with dignity and respect and openly admitted that their some fans out there who do not support her message. This is a lie.
There are probably more, especially with the fur stuff, but I am so done with her right now.
They both are right. Gaga was right about Fashion Police. That show does promote a culture of bullying.
However, Sharon is right too. If Gaga wants to check anybody for bullying, perhaps she should start in her own backyard and check some of her rabid fans.
I agree to an extent. However, acting like it's exclusive to LM or that it exemplefies all her fans when it is a small minoroty is also unfair.
The real discussion should be about how celebrity "stanning" and living vicariously through celebrities has gotten out of control, in general. Lady Gaga fans have done nothing different than any other internet fan base and to say differently would be a lie. This form of "entertainment" has gotten too big.

If Gaga had responded directly to Madonna she would have been dragged to the pits of Hades, Madonna doesn't play, just look at how badly she did Mariah, Courtney Love and Janet in the 90s.

Fuuny how she says welcome to the real world but when trolls say horrible things on the internet she cant handle it. the internet is like this get over it, it is never going to change.
