Walmart quite possibly has EVERYTHING you could ever need in life. Target, does not.

Plus the prices, selection(s), and overall convenience is better.

as for the main question, I didn't include it BC Kmart is turning into a sinking ship tbh.I have never seen a 'new' Kmart store open (in fact they are closing stores) and their remodels look tacky.It's becoming clear that this war's between WM and Target.

And Super Kmarts are EXTREMELY rare.Super targets are frequent but not as much as wm.
