Well that's obviously a factor but you can't tell me that the bias of radio programmers is keeping Xtina's music from being played on the radio...even if we suppose that's the case, a radio deal should have ensured at least moderate airplay success.

Obviously the public's interest has a lot to do with it.

Girl Christina didn't do ANY international promo for Lotus. Radio stations still chose to not play YB even though it was holding up nicely on iTunes, received positive reviews from critics and the video was a smash hit on YT.

SIMPLE. While the other girls rely on new song-writers and the trends, P!nk has been using her own talent and own ideas to stay on top. With the other girls they fail when the current writers fail, where as P!nk always relied on herself and she is RELIABLE. She IS talent. So she will never fail.

I really do think that's a huge factor. There's a lot of radio stations out there (especially the huge ones) that won't even play a song or take requests until a single becomes a hit on other formats / on the smaller stations.

As for the radio deal, in most cases that's only good for a week. I don't remember the exact amount "Your Body" received, but it definitely wasn't enough to sustain the single to platinum certification.

Britney could SLAY if she actually bothered and promoted like P!nk does but the fact that she's only done 10 promotional performances in the past 10 years speaks volumes. It's also worth noting that P!nk didn't have an EXPLOSIVE debut like Brit did so it's easy for you guys to say she's "consistent" while forgetting the fact that the Circus era was a bigger era than P!nk's first and 3rd era.

Xtina is a different case, it's clear that the public just isn't here for her anymore.

I think Britney could still be as successful as Pink if she tried a bit more with the promo, but - as someone else said - she clearly doesn't care about her career.

She hasn't done that much promo. Her last promo in the US was at the AMAs, where Xtina also performed. Since then, Xtina also performed TWICE on The Voice and also on Ellen.

Well i agree with mostly but i don't understand what Xtina personally could have to done individual radio DJs for them to ignore her completely. There's no Britney radio ban issue here and it's certainly not a label/management issue cuz Pink, Kelly, Kesha etc seem to be doing great.

More basic than any Pink song? Pink is one of my all-time favorite artists, but her entire discography is not flawless. Your Body is no where near flawless either, but it's a lot better than some of Pink's material.

Never did the words Christina and Britney come into those sentences.

I always sensed bitterness, anger, and hypocrisy from P!nk. She's an honorary PETA member, yet she's Loreal spokesperson. She would never work with Max Martin, yet she did. She wanted to go on the road and write music like they did back in the day, yet, blow me last kiss is what we get. I'm sorry, she's just never been as real and authentic as she would like everyone to think. She always tried too hard to prove herself.
