And then we should brush up on the rules of the forum to make sure we're not breaking anything unwittingly.

After watching the Diva from Wynn video (the horns are great) I'm thinking that she could use Diva well for introduction music at the Superbowl. It's maybe not an important enough song to actually perform, but to have the beat and the horns and drums start and play as she makes her entrance would be so amazing. It's so strong and enthralling.

Basically, how much more do you think 4 will sell because of the Superbowl? It'll be her most recent album out, and obviously not as many people in the world already own it and so need to buy it. I really hope she doesn't disregard 4 in her performance. While it may not have clear "hits" I think there are some memorable tracks that most of the general public will know. I think the songs with th best chances for being performed are, Run The World and Love on Top (I think this is the one she'll perform most likely), then maybe Countdown and Dance For You (though too slow for the Super Bowl).
I just don't want her to pretend 4 didn't happen because it didn't really resonate. She needs to say, "I don't care, it's my music and I love it" by performing something from 4.

Since they announced her SB spot i came to the realisation that her most stadium-worthy songs are all on 4
Run the world
End of time
Countdown
Schoolin life

Hive I had the greatest dream ever with the queen
I was with her looking at a chalkboard with 18 songs written on it and she was going over all the tracks with me! There were four features, one of which was Ciara ( ) and I was like "Ciara?!" and Bey was like "I know... But people don't understand she's up and coming again." The other features i don't remember but one was a guy Rihanna was friends with... And the 18 songs were to be divided among re-releases, most of which were not even named yet.. The first song listed was a long titled song with the world "Love" somewhere in it, it was heartwrenching to read for some reason... The titles sounded so cool i was ing all over the place!
Hive I need serious help

Nothing from 4 needs to perform at the Super Bowl I only see Run The World (Girls). Love On Top, Countdown, End of Time are a NO. End of Time/Countdown weren't hits and why on earth would she perform Love On Top at the Super Bowl. You perform your biggest most iconic hits & your newest release.

Love on top and run the world may not have been radio/ charts hits but they're both memorable to the public. LOT cus of the vmas, it was also the no1 song on both RnB and urban AC radio 2012 year end lists. Countdown n EOT dont have to be performed in full. I can see either song meshing seamlessly with crazy in love. Realistically speaking, if she uses just 2 songs from "4" during her slot, thats more than generous

She could perform Love on Top at the Superbowl because it's a catchy, feel good song.
Just because a song wasn't a hit doesn't mean its not a good song, and that a good performance won't come out of it. Beyonce doesn't need to follow the standards set by other performers. And unlike many of the past performers, she only has 4 solo albums so there is less to choose from than let's say, Madonna or Prince. I think she was selected more for her talents and abilities than for the hits in her catalogue anyway.
Maybe she'll mash up a 4 song with something else like she used to do with Single Ladies and Sweet Dreams.

LOT doesn't have that high energy for the Super Bowl. The most memorable song on 4 is RTW, only I could see being performed from 4. 2 songs from 4? She only has 15 mins to perform. Crazy In Love, Single Ladies, New Single are a giving. Countdown & End Of Time are a no, ppl may think their new songs. It's crazy to perform unknown songs from a past album at something as HUGE as the Super Bowl.

I think people definitely know more songs from 4 than you're giving them credit. Although they weren't bought and requested, I don't think it means people don't know them. I know a lot of people who play songs from 4 especially Love on Top and I don't think they bought them.
I did too a few months ago.

I've never said LOT wasn't a good song and it's catchy but boring for the Super Bowl. It's has nothing to do with following the others it's about what makes sense, her iconic hits. So her hits doesn't show her talents or abilities? If u think Beyonce will perform Love On Top, Countdown or End of Time over Crazy In Love & Single Ladies that's foolish.
