Draft versions of songs were not sent by email. Instead, the duo insisted that all collaborators must come to their temporary studios to record their contributions in person.
The album’s art director Virgil Abloh even suggested on Twitter – possibly joking, possibly not – that producer Noah Goldstein had been “sleeping with the hard drives for like 10 months straight”.
Only a small circle of people had access to the music before it was released on iTunes last Monday, at which point it was delivered to a CD manufacturing plant.

Does that mean that Beyonce's CD will only be out on iTunes the first week? Isn't that how Jay and Kanye did it. I don't want leaks but Beyonce always does get a huge amount of physical sales. Didn't she set a record for physical sales or something for 4?
Songwriters are lucky people. I mean Bey does 50/60/70 songs per album. Even if she don't use all of them, the time these people spend working with her is so worth it. Think about inspiration, artistic growth coming from collaborating with her

I highly doubt it, her albums sell TONS more physical copies.
I think it will leak early by a couple days but only because it will be in stores in some areas.
