I think it's best she didn't premiere anything on NYE. People are a bit preoccupied at this time of year I think. Although many people are returning to work and school after holidays, I doubt many are checking for new music. It'll be better for her to premiere music when people's attention spans are back to normal.
If she waits until the Superbowl to perform it, I hope she both opens and closes with the song so that people remember the song better.
