It does not matter how long she has been gone, and I could even convincingly argue that her being gone after the massive exposure of BTW did nothing but cleanse the pallet of the GP. What she needs to do now is simply come back with good music. That's all there is to it.

I totally appreciate why some are concerned and I'd be lying if I said it was't somewhat of a concern of mine also, but I genuinely do feel that this break will have done her wonders.
She's let everyone have a breather, allowed herself some time for soul searching as an artist, provided time to move on from BTW and hopefully let absence make the heart grow stronger. The fact pop has being dull as **** during her break only sweetens the deal.
Plus, it doesn't really feel like a year since MTN...so I doubt the average person will view this break as an endless sabbatical. They've probably not even noticed she left considering the constant headlines.
