"Starships" was a risky single choice, though. I mean, there were obvious pros and cons. The song itself is generic and not exactly a highlight in Nic's discography, but as a single release, she was risking a lot of her urban credibility.

The songs are very similar to me, except one completely falls flat and one soars. I don't care if it was originally Cassie's song, her part is way too slow for Nicki's part and ****s up the flow of things (compared to Ciara's fast-paced chorus which keeps things moving nicely).

It's a nice song, but it should have remained an album track. It's not single worthy, let alone lead single worthy.
