Back in the day, Canadian arenas used to play “God Save The Queen” during wild brawls in an attempt to have the players respectfully end the violence in honor of the anthem.
We can only assume that’s why Miley Cyrus’s “Party In The U.S.A.” was blaring through the speakers during this line brawl, as no self-respecting junior hockey player would dare throw his fists during poetry like “my tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick.” Unless it’s into the air in time with that rockin’ country beat, ya’ll.
Whatever the case, this is the first line brawl we’ve ever seen scored to a Miley Cyrus song. Your move, Demi Lovato …
Miley Cyrus is reportedly getting all kinds of personal on her next album. Hip-hop producer and recording artist Pharrell Williams says her upcoming work is "powerful" and unexpected.
"Her sound right now is her personality," Williams said in an interview with MTV. "That's what we've been aiming for in the studio and that's what's been coming out and that's what's been sounding so interesting. Her voice is a very powerful one -- you just have to hear it to know that and to understand it. It's nowhere near what it is that you think."
