Well album sales are more inportant. As an artist signed to major record label, selling albums is prioritised over tour gross. You can still have a decent tour that'll please fans without being a touring force. For instance, Whitney went back to touring smaller venues after the jauggernaut Bodyguard era out of preference for their intimacy.
My fav touring stadiums would be great for bragging on music forums but i know i'd rather attend an arena concert than a stadium one. I just find the former more enjoyable and value for money
