The fact that everything is inflated, & that other things cost money, and that iTunes take a % of profits, and that HWR take a % of profits, and that her manager takes a % of profits etc.

Personally I dont get why as a "fan" or "stan" you would care in the slightest about how much your face is worth I mean its really lame to be honest, all that should matter is you like the artists music or them personally and leave it at that, when people start boasting about net worth (note: heckinglovato isnt the only one who does this) it all gets a bit pathetic. It's almost like people start living vicariously through their favs which is a bit worrying if you ask me

Yeah, I mean it really makes me happy when I know that Demi's music is doing well but honestly I'm not here for her sales or her networth.

I get the whole "this song is so good, it deserves to sell millions" sort of things but when fans brag about how much their fav is worth I can't help but cringe, I mean I know a lot of say a lot of things when we exaggerate and make tongue in cheek comments...but honestly do you really care how much Demi is worth and would it make so much of an impact that you'd brag about to everyone and anyone....like how even does that make anybody feel superior

But there's nothing wrong with being interested in the music biz and the charts imo?
I agree though the bragging isn't really necessary and i don't care about someone's worth either. If it's high, that's impressive if not, shame, but it doesn't really matter.

No I totally agree with that, I do like to know how various artists are doing etc, but I couldnt care less about how much somebody is worth because at the end of the day I'm not gonna see any of that money and it really has nothing to do with my life, I dont feel the need to brag about how rich any celebrity I support is because it doesnt make me feel superior in the slightest.
I do however get happy when a celebrity whom I adore and who's music I like (Demi) achieves something, like awards, certified albums etc

I only joined atrl for sale receipts, certifications, money and extra news, plus opinions on atrl are way too different from twitter since you guys are kinda more mature.

atrl is just a bragging place for a lot of members and it's really over the top.
It's natural to be proud if the music you like sells a lot i guess. I mean only to a certain extinct.
