Why Beyoncé stans always say Crazy In Love is "culturally prominent" what does it do for our culture?

It's never played at clubs or imitated by anyone. I fail to see its contribution to my culture.

Considering it was the first electronica song to be a hit in the USA and thanks to that Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and several others could release their material it DID change the industry.

Toxic was the only pop song to hit #1 in Top 40 Radio back in those days filled with "R&B" and hip-hop. It's a grammy winning song. It was the biggest female single of 2004. The video is ICONIC. Etc.
