Yuck, I'm disgusted with the media. They're exploiting these poor children. I can't believe they had the nerve to interview a couple of them right afterward.

The media's "grieving process" disturbs me.

- OMG INTERVIEW WITH THE SURVIVORS, LET'S MAKE THEM RELIVE THE PAIN
- OMG THE PERSON WHO DID IT AND THEIR PHOTO
- OMG HALO/MARILYN MANSON/DISNEY MADE THEM DO IT
- OMG NEW SHOOTING

I'm tired of their fake sympathetic ******** on the media's behalf. Anything for ratings, though!

Omg, just saw this and this absolutely just broke my heart. I'm welling up typing this because there is NO fathomable reason to shoot an elementary school, NONE. The parents of the now deceased I'm sure are devastated and for good reason; no parent expects their child to go to school, to get shot, and to not come back home...I mean, this is just detestable. Closure is going to be hard to find considering the **** who did this is now dead himself.

Somebody on a news station I'm watching made a good point; is this the new norm? Are we supposed to just expect these types of shootings to happen now? They're becoming more and more prevalent. Unless we do something about it, nothing's going to change.
