ALBUM REVIEW:
The last time I've included a greatest hits album in my list was way back in 2009 with Britney Spears. This time, we have Jennifer Lopez making its way. To be honest, this year doesn't seem to have so much albums that I really got into, and it really paved the way for Dance Again: The Hits to be listed here. When Jennifer Lopez decided to release greatest hits albums, I am so looking forward on it despite that it will not do well in the charts. Enough said, this compilation includes some of her classics hits from her debut If You Had My Love, the new millennium themed single for Waiting For Tonight and the feel good vibe Feelin' So Good. Some of my favorite tracks that I always play whenever I am in the mood are Love Don't Cost A Thing, the remix versions for her smash hits I'm Real and Ain't It Funny, the irresistible Get Right, and her biggest hit last year for On The Floor. Other remarkable singles were also included in this compilation like the lead single of her 2002 album, Jenny From The Block and her unforgettable collaboration with LL Cool J for All I Have which is included on the deluxe edition. You can also find the underrated tracks like I'm Into You, the fiesty Do It Well and the only Spanish single on the list, Que Hiciste. There are only two new tracks for the fans to enjoy; her only biggest hit this year for Dance Again (feat. Pitbull), on which it neither exceed nor match the success of On The Floor and Goin' On (feat. Flo Rida), which is featured as a soundtrack to Step Up Revolution. The song is obviously good but sadly it flopped on the charts everywhere. If you're a fan like me, you will definitely buy this compilation. I can recommend Dance Again...The Hits mostly to the pop fans and to those who just want to listen to classic dance hits from this versatile diva.

ALBUM REVIEW:
You might not be interested for Justin Bieber and his latest effort Believe, but you cannot deny this album is also a decent one and worth to be included in the 2012 list. It's more than two years since Justin infected the world with the Bieber fever and he is not stopping anytime soon. Believe is his latest offer and judging from the tracks, his sound clearly matures especially with his vocals. The record starts with the electronic dance tune All Around The World, on which he teams up yet again with Ludacris. The swaggy lead single Boyfriend follows next wherein I bet most girls who adore him so much just simply got more hooked into him. One of his long-lasting hits this year is As Long As You Love Me which features short rap verses from Big Sean while Catching Feelings is about a young love as Bieber shows the emotion of having butterflies on the stomach. The robotic beat accompanied track Take You comes up next while Bieber teams up with Drake on the R&B track Right Here. Fall is up next, a track which is inspired the classic movie A Walk To Remember as Justin sings about extracting the sorrow from the rumbling persecussion felt by his girl. Bieber falls for his love interest in Die In Your Arms while he sings about living for the moment on the track Thought Of You. The third single of the album, Beauty And A Beat features female rapper Nicki Minaj. I feel like some of the lyrics are a bit corny on this one but it is still a good track. One Love is up next and this is about a goal in finding one's love as the mood shifts to a soothing vibe on the guitar ballad for Be Alright. The record finally comes to a close with the title track of the album, on which Justin dedicates this one to his fans and to the people that made him a superstar. If you're going to compare Justin Bieber to the other young teenage singers, he has probably surpassed most of them. After delivering a childlike tune album a couple of years ago, he successfully evolved to a mature young man. Probably in a couple of years, he'll be compared to Justin Timberlake. Love him or hate him, he will be in the limelight for a quite some time.
