But that UK debut wasn't from a full weeks sales
And both BTW & Warrior are great, experimental albums
It's not experimental aside from maybe three tracks. Five I guess if you count deluxe and the type of sounds that diverge from her typical sound but not necessarily pop sound.
Nevertheless, it doesn't deserve to flop, in my opinion, or deserve underwhelming results in terms of album sales like Born This Way.
I think it is pretty obvious that he means it will appeal to many more people than BTW did (obviously not EVERYONE) since BTW mostly appealed to a very specific subset of Gaga's fans while alienating everyone else.
