If 'My Humps' can win for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group and 'Who Let The Dogs Out' for Best Dance Recording than Wide Awake has a chance at winning.
Do we have any idea what version Adele submitted? Is it her singing over the album instrumental, or acoustic, or a live band or...? If it's anything other than the first Wide Awakes production >>> Set Fire.
I agree though, people have gave up too soon. I'd say Kelly was more of a competition for the Grammy than Adele, Adele's was more of a left over buzz from last year nomination than a true potential winner. (See: Beyonce - Halo (live) a couple years back.)

Katy just finished her show in Dubai ! And indeed... New costumes! lots of photos out there, but I'm at work and can't post any right now. looked epic...
I wish she'd start performing a random new song like she did with Brick by Brick between One of The Boys and Teenage Dream. I would absolutely adore a new acoustic, unreleased, gem from Katy right now! Just something for the fans to enjoy, nothing official at all.
Does anyone know Brick By Bricks story, by the way? Why wasn't it on either album, where'd it come from, when was it written, etc.
I had this dream last night that Katy's new album was called "American Beauty" and it was like the POM 3D promo pics with her guitar, but for some reason she was blonde with these really awesome pinky lips. But anyways yeah the art was her closing the door on this red mustang, like with her facing the camera, and she had these shades on too It looked really retroey, real 80's Americana. She let me listen to it because she lived with me but I remember none of it
