her debut also had one of the highest selling digital singles on it, die young hasnt been anywhere near as big of a smash as tik tok so this is understandable
"Tik Tok" was at 2m and sold 250k the week the album was released. "Die Young" is at 1.5m without three more months of sales before the album release "Tik Tok" had. The numbers are horrible. She's had great promo, so there's no excuse.

you cant honestly be saying that die young and tik tok are in the same league
Well Kesha, that's what happens when you've been away for so long and release a disposable single like Die Young. Yes, radio will eat it up, but it's not exactly an album mover imo. Supernatural or Warrior (the song) would have pushed the album a great deal more. Come On is as generic as Die Young, so won't do much for the album.
If those songs are released later, it'll give the album some longevity, provided it doesn't fall into oblivion before then. I just think it's a waste that these smashes were not released now, as in the Q4 period to make use of potentially massive numbers.
I'm not. I'm just saying the promo made up for the fact that her lead single wasn't as big as "Tik Tok."
hmmm ok. Well, from a 'stan', the numbers aren't as high as youd hope but they are respectable and we can always hope it has the longevity of die young and goes on to sell more
Well, I can't make any excuses for her really. I could argue that 2 singles should have been released and properly pushed before the album to build up her star power around the world again, but I have doubts on whether that would have even worked anyway. I really like the album, and I will stick by her and continue to support her career. Hopefully things turn out much better in the future, because she really doesn't deserve this.
