I've been wondering why everyone calls the new country chart a joke? Back in the old days it was based on total airplay and sales. The only real problem was WANEGBT not being played much on country radio but the chart itself was originally to decide the most popular song amd not the song with the most radio play. That was why songs could spend so many weeks at #1. It became essential to actually crossover to actually go #1 much like how today it is essential to crossover if you want to be #1. Its basically the old style but nobody else in country music wants to crossover so it looks unfair.
