I'mma need some of these Cannibals to stop trashing "Die Young" and "C'mon." No one is here for Ke$ha or RCA putting out a "riskier single," only to have it flop and then, ON TOP of that, having an under performing album when it comes to sales. I'm not here for a Britney-sized "Criminal" disaster because fans think they know what they're talking about with single releases. Appreciate that as Ke$ha fans we're guaranteed consistent Hot 100 hits that soar into the top ten, which many artists kill for.

Clearly putting out singles like "Die Young" and "C'mon" aren't helping her album sales in any shape or form, so she's still flopping in that aspect, there's nothing to be glad about a local singles artist, so I disagree with you Vin

We don't even want riskier singles, though.

The songs we want as singles the most -- arguably Crazy Kids and Last Goodbye -- are still surefire smashes, but they aren't generic. I don't want her to release Dirty Love for the risk of it when I know it will flop, I want her to release songs that could actually help her album sales and strengthen her fan base. She's not going to gain new fans with C'Mon, but she could with singles like CK and LG.

Tell them! The premature meltdowns after the album has not even been out one week (at least in the US) astound me. People here have no patience and lose their **** every five seconds over most things that the general public do not pay much attention to. What she needs is some good promo at radio and she'll be just fine. Honestly, I can't with fans anymore automatically thinking that their album faves will smash at radio. How about we wait a few weeks and see which songs everyone is still ******** over? So many people here have unbelievable musical ADD that I just don't even try to get some of this reasoning anymore.

If Supernatural is going to be released as a single in the future, I'm going to need a radio edit with added instrumental in the verses.

I just want the singles released to fully represent the album and get as many album sales as possible. I dont mind the first two choices as long as they AFTER it release something different. Album sales>3rd/4th single success

It might be a good idea to release Cmon first. What if she released one of the "riskier" songs and then that song flopped? Poor album AND poor single sales? That could kill the momentum for the rest of the era. We're bound to get one of the songs we really want released with single #3, so wait it out!

What some of you are failing to realize is that songs like DY and C'Mon are not going to shift albums. All it is accomplishing is Keeping Ke$ha local, making her seem one dimensional and not allowing Warrior (and Ke$ha) get the full credit they deserve

C'mon is a terrible choice and i stick by that opinion. But i agree that it's annoying to keep on bringing it up, so i will try to stay positive and not complain.

Ke$ha has always been local and her musical style will continue to remain local
The least local she will be is when she releases CK and Supernatural.
It's not like if she waits to release them they'll suddenly flop.

They won't get 'sick' of her either because the songs are so fresh and great.

I agree with you. Honestly, after these two, anything else is a risk as far as RCA is concerned. This is assuming she gets two more singles off of this album, which I hope she does. However, I don't think Supernatural would be a good single, even though I love the track. I think Crazy Kids is a nice representation of the vibe of the album and tracks like Thinking of You and OWDWY are good representations of the sound I think she initially wanted for the album overall. And I think those would all be fine singles. Just don't agree that anything else should have been released as the second single besides C'Mon. It's a reasonable choice and I wish people would just calm themselves over it.

As much as a lot of people want the general public to be exposed to the true "vibe" of the album, they have to be coaxed into it, especially given who is listening and responding to radio these days and what they like. You can't just throw something out of left field at them and expect them to respond and it would be unwise of an artist like Ke$ha and her team to do that. At the end of the day, her style and delivery is already a lot different than what's out there. I think a lot of people tend to forget that.

And honestly, Ke$ha has never been some massive sales queen, albums wise. She needs a good singles campaign and hopefully people will be open to hearing the rest of it because of that.

That's my main point, she's a local singles artist , and I don't get how we're all okay with that.
