Going from the sound on BTW to EDM is not backtracking. If anything, it's progressing seeing as the sound on BTW was primarily dated and from the 80s. Backtracking would be if she went back to the sound of The Fame, but she's not, she's doing EDM, which is smart considering it is quickly becoming the most popular form of pop music at the time. The thing that sets Gaga apart with ARTPOP is that she's actually working with EDM producers and not generic, wannabe EDM producers who just throw in a horrible, bastardized "EDM" breakdown in the middle of a pop song. I have all the faith in the world that she will bring it and it will be different and amazing. She's not ****ing around this time, chidlren.

maybe the lessers will see why I love EDM now.. I'm ready afraid though if DJWS REDONE try to do EDM, I'm kinda scared about them.. I have faith in Zedd and Madeon.. Everything they do is perfect tbh
