A new article came out on HDD today about the Grammy's. Their two editor in chiefs made some predictions and said this:

Trakin: Now for Song, a songwriters’ award, where Gotye and Adele aren't eligible, which means this is anyone's to win.

Beer: Ocean and Carly and Bruce. I also like “Stronger” here by Kelly Clarkson

Trakin: Yes, I agree with that… "Take Care"?

Beer: “Thinking” and “Stronger” and one more. And what about Mumfords for slot five?

Interesting that they put her in the Song of the Year field but not Record. She did submit to SOTY, right? Though she wouldn't even get the award as she doesn't have writing credits on the song. Would be cool for the nom anyway though.. I don't see it happening though. I'm more hoping for ROTY even though it's not as likely as a handful of other songs.

Stronger is the biggest song by a pop girl in 2012, not including the one hit wonders or irrelevant ones (which won't get Grammy's). Out of all the major popstars Stronger is definitely the biggest hit of 2012, I wouldn't count it out for ROTY tbh.

Yeah, I'm not counting it out I just think there are bigger contenders and it's unlikely. Call Me Maybe will probably get in there () as well as Gotye for sure, Fun, and then there's Maroon 5, Frank Ocean, Drake, etc.
