All artists get worn out digs like that. Beyonce gets skin lightening, Katy gets trading sex for songs, Britney gets drug/child abuse, etc. They're all equally ignorant and played out. It's ATRL/stanworld culture.
Oh I know how common it is, I just think it's sad and cheap to drag an artist for something blatantly untrue.
Would saying something like "Miley Christ" count as a nickname? Just wondering because: A) It does not mangle her actual name in any way, it's merely an honorary add-on similar to "Legend X" or "Queen Britney" B) I see many Taylor Swift fans referring to her as "The Lord" or something along those lines, and considering "Christ" is merely a synonym for "Lord" I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed.

Last time I saw a nickname like that was warned because it mangles "Jesus Christ"
(as the whole name counts as one), and then you would change Miley Cyrus.
I don't know if it was reversed, though.

I know I'm not a mod so feel free to simply dismiss me, but I believe I recall moderators indicating that "Christ" is unacceptable as it is technically a mangling of the name of Jesus Christ, and that things involving titles like "legend" or "queen" (or even "messiah" if I recall correctly) are more acceptable. I hope I at least helped.
